Lodging Hotel Manager

The Kennebunkport Resort Collection is seeking a full time, year-round Hotel Manager for our intown properties. The Hotel Manager role involves overseeing the daily hotel operations at our intown properties. Designing training programs for the facilities department, including but not limited to maintenance, grounds and housekeeping while assisting other senior managers with training programs in their respective departments.

The Hotel Manager plays a key role in overseeing the success of the properties, project management, expense management in accordance with budgeted goals and ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards.

Food & Beverage Chef de Cuisine

The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for ensuring that all meals coming from the kitchen are well prepared regarding quality, consistency, eye appeal, taste, and food cost. The Chef de Cuisine is expected to provide training for all staff; meet company quality standards; assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes, and sanitation. The Chef de Cuisine is also responsible for controlling food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention
  • Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in kitchen areas

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, cottages, apartments, bungalows, etc. and to maintain our gorgeous properties with great pride as appointed by supervisor. This includes cleaning of patios or balconies connected with rooms and any outdoor furniture. The Housekeeper will also keep clean any common areas and pool areas. He/She will assist with breakfast set up, service and break down, laundry and any other cleaning duties that may arise during shift as directed by Housekeeping supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Should have own transportation and or reliable transport to and from location of work
  • Should be available to work weekend shifts Sat/Sun and be available to work holidays and/or special events.
  • A should be able to lift at least 50lbs and be physically able to complete chores that require bending and lifting, stretching and reaching.
  • Will be required to use a variety of cleaning solutions to clean rooms and be able to work with a variety of cleaning agents without any adverse reactions.
