Lodging Groundskeeper

Responsible for maintaining resort grounds using hand and power tools and equipment. Will perform any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation. Will also maintain and repair landscaping tools, equipment, and structures.

Earth at Hidden Pond, located in Kennebunkport, Maine seeks a dynamic Restaurant Manager to join its team. Nestled amongst balsam trees and birch forest, Earth is the result of a vision—one that embraces community and supports relationships between the world of outstanding cuisine and the farmers and foragers who provide the tools with which we compose incredible fare. Earth's Restaurant Manager is responsible for creating and orchestrating overall restaurant procedures with the goal of maintaining revenue, profitability and quality goals. Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
  • Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant
  • Work with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed

This includes cleaning of patios or balconies connected with rooms and any outdoor furniture. The Housekeeper will also keep clean any common areas and pool areas. He/She will assist with breakfast set up, service and break down, laundry and any other cleaning duties that may arise during shift as directed by Housekeeping supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Should have own transportation and or reliable transport to and from location of work
  • Should be available to work weekend shifts Sat/Sun and be available to work holidays and/or special events.
