While some restrictions apply during peak season, you can still take your dogs to this beautiful beach before 9am or after 5pm! In the off season (before June 15th and after Labor Day) dogs are welcome at all times but must be on leash.
While staying in Kennebunkport, you may notice a few bumper stickers that read "Keep the Pooches on Gooch's". You can thank these wonderful people for fighting to keep Gooch's Beach a dog friendly seaside destination. Similarly to Goose Rocks Beach, from June 15 to Labor Day, dogs are welcome before 9am and after 5pm under voice control or on a leash. After Labor Day to June 14th, dogs are permitted on the beach at any time, on leash or off leash. All off leash dogs should be under voice control with good recall skills!
