The Kennebunkport Resort Collection is committed to keeping the Kennebunks a welcoming locale and building up our community through charitable and service initiatives. Our focuses are affordable housing, protecting wildlife habitats, and creating spaces for the youth of our community.
In the past, we have been honored to support local initiatives through quarterly and annual donations, including but not limited to Kennebunkport Parks & Rec Department, Kennebunkport Heritage Housing Trust, Community Outreach Services, RSU21 Schools, Habitat for Humanity, Animal Welfare Society, Kennebunk Land Trust, and the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust.
In order to increase the impact we make in our community, the Kennebunkport Resort Collection has implemented a 1% Impact Fee for guests staying at our hotels. This fee will be donated to local causes that we are passionate about, some of which are mentioned above. We are aiming to support several organizations through quarterly and annual donations.
How will organizations be chosen?
Organizations will be chosen by KRC leadership and approved by EOS Hospitality. Qualifying organizations will be thoroughly vetted and chosen based on demonstrated impact, local expertise, and sustainable programming. At a base level, organizations must be non-partisan, serve the local community, and not engage in any discriminatory practices. Organizations we've donated so far to with our Community Impact Fee include:

What else is the Kennebunkport Resort Collection doing to impact the community?
The Impact Fee is just one part of our overall program, which includes partnering with community leaders and like-minded businesses to advance our mission and other community service activities. Additionally, KRC Cares is a group of Kennebunkport Resort Collection employees who help with children’s toy drives, beach cleanups, and other charitable causes around the community
